18 Mangsir, Kathmandu. Sudurpaschim Royals have set a target of 183 runs for Biratnagar Kings in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) after captain Dipendra Singh Airi scored an aggressive half-century.
Dipendra finished the innings with consecutive sixes in the last two balls. He completed his half-century by hitting a six off Prath GC in 19.5 overs. After hitting a six in the last ball as well, Dipendra scored an unbeaten 57 runs in 24 balls. He hit 3 fours and 5 sixes. He scored 42 runs from boundaries.
Sudurpaschim, who were invited to bat first after losing the toss, scored 182 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Captain Deependra Singh Airi scored 57, Brandon 36, Binod Bhandari 23, Ishan Pandey 21, Saif Zaib 14, and Scott 10 runs.
Biratnagar’s Anil Kharel took three wickets, while Chris Soley, Ismat Alam and Bashir Ahmed took one wicket each.
