Karnali Yaks scored 43 runs in the last two overs to set a target of 142 runs for Janakpur Bolts in the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

In the second match of the day on Monday, Karnali, who won the toss and elected to bat against Janakpur Bolts, scored 141 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Arjun Gharti, who was run out with the last two balls remaining, scored 33 runs off 22 balls and Sompal Kami scored 29 runs not out off 13 balls.

Arjun had bowled 22 runs to Janakpur’s Harsh Thakar in the 19th over. He hit two fours and two sixes for that, taking two runs once. In the last over, captain Sompal bowled 21 runs to Jimmy Neesham. Sompal hit three fours and a six.

Arjun and Sompal had a 56-run partnership for the seventh wicket.Karnali had started slowly before that. They had scored 96 runs in 18 overs, losing 6 wickets.
